Firstly, an apology. Charlie Taylor and I never intended to leave a gap of…three months…between shows. However, life got in the way and we did. Sorry. Very, very, sorry.
But we are back now and are celebrating Somerset’s men making a 5th consecutive Blast quarter-final. That is a serious effort. The women’s first Blast campaign, well, that was not so successful but there were still enough signs of promise to suggest things can and shall get better.
In this episode we review both teams’ group campaigns, look forward to Durham in the Championship (although with that ball being used, is it really something to look forward to?!) and have a chat with Will Smeed.
